today see Raspberry Pi release
new OS

! time for a new PC !

my current work PC is from 2019
recent setup: Ubuntu Desktop 25.04
hardware:
Gigabyte B450M DS3H-CF
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6 cores; 12 threads
8GB DDR4 SDRAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
NVMe M.2 WD_BLACK SN770 1TB ( already upgrade to a PCIe 4 for use in new PC after old one failed )

is fast enough,
but shows problems:
- - USB ports front (box) have connection issues
- - just see that the case fan not spins / bearing ( RGB still ok ) so removed it
and order new one ( 12V molex connector ) but it was too strong and loud so i removed it again
- - sometimes 10 sec black screen ? graphic card or PS OR monitor / Toshiba TV / ? ( see with Win and Linux )

possibly time for a

RPI 500+

i did not buy the RPI 5,
saw the RPI500 with a unpopulated SSD slot
and waited..
now its here, the

500+

but too expensive

now with a bigger drive on a RPI3
( USB3 UGREEN with TEAM 120GB SSD on USB2 of RPI3 )
what is little bit faster as my uSD
i think about how to used that space better?
+ while we set it up as file storage
+ + SAMBA server
+ + docker nextcloud ( web file server )
it can be useful,
BUT this is about learning and not production use...

Learn WEB?

i was asked how to start learning 'to CODE'?
and well, i recommended to start with web and HTML.

* and back then i even prepared my old laptop with 'KDE plasma neon'
as a beginner LINUX environment, but that move was not ?understood?accepted.

now, some month later, i suddenly read: 'Now i ready to learn coding'

i now want play on that laptop ( what i not use much ) with
