i read about a new editor
FRESHfor use in ( even remote ) terminal
what i want evaluate ( against the usual
NANO )
with play RPI for years HEADLESS only,
like SSH terminal login OR VNC desktop // from my desktop PC ( now UBUNTU 25.10 )
i am used to terminal / MC [F4] / NANO editor
so call me a 'NANO not VIM' guy
now i see
video and
GIT
fire up my RPI4 and install
FRESH with
curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sinelaw/fresh/refs/heads/master/scripts/install.sh | sh
so you see already,
-1- it has a optional
file window
-2- it has optional 2 editor windows
but i had to edit the
.selected_editor for MC [F4] manually ( with a existing 'link' )
to make it useful from MC
now exploring this new work environment
-3- also has terminal
need to learn what that [LSP] menu entry is??
alternative might be
micro
editor
